I had a wonderful experience watching the gala show on Saturday night and of course the afternoon gala show and thank you for your invitation to perform in the afternoon show this year. Here are my thoughts about your festival. Without any possible argument we may conclude that Leyla Jouvana Bellydancer of the world contest is real. The whole contest - including the venue - attracts five thousand people on a yearly base Due to the fact that so many can meet in such great contest is not only good for the winners but, all contesters will gain great experience and feedback which has proven to raise the bellydancer quality over the years now. My name is Nargis and I am proud that Leyla has been able to pull this event into the largest contest in the world to the mainland Europe. Personally, I have learned a lot from the contest and it has helped me to further improve myself besides my study at Suhaila Salimpour school ....
Leyla, I believe that I speak on behalf of a large group when I say; thank you very much and please continue and grow the event as you do year on year.

Das Festival war sooo schön!Es hat alles gepasst,alles war super organisiert,die Atmosphäre war wunderbar!Mein Auftritt auf der Open Stage war gelungen,das Publikum war super nett und es waren auch erstaunlich viele Zuschauer für einen Messeauftritt da..der Karlheinz hat das auch gut moderiert!
Ich wollte Dir nochmal sagen,wie toll ich das Konzept fand,dass die Künstler die Kolleginnen selber anmoderieren!Das hat die Tänzerinnen dem Publikum noch näher gebracht,es war lustig und süß wie sie sich mit dem Deutsch abmühten-tolle Idee!Die Sängerin war auch klasse,da bekam man schon zu Beginn der Show richtig Gänsehaut..es war eben anders konzipiert wie die meisten andern Shows und das hat es nochmal so speziell gemacht!
Tigerlily war auch begeistert und es ist jetzt schon amtlich dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder dabei sind!
Vielen Dank nochmal an Dich und Roland für diesen tollen Event!Tja,das ist wohl für keine Veranstalterin mehr zu toppen..ich denke es ist nicht nur der hohe Qualitätsstandard und die perfekte Organisation..das bekommen andere vielleicht(!) auch hin-es hat viel mehr mit euch Beiden zu tun,denn ihr bringt letztlich diese spezielle Stimmung und Seele in dieses Festival..und das spüren die Teilnehmer und die Zuschauer!

You and Roland have been doing a fabulous job all these years and without your work, our dance scene would not be the same. I had a wonderful time and the other contestants were also so great. Die Zeit vergeht unheimlich schnell, und gleich nach der Show war ich wieder geschäftlich unterwegs.
Ich möchte mich bei Dir nochmals persönlich bedanken für diese unglaubliche Erfahrung! Die Projekt-Proben haben mir unheimlich viel gebracht, es war auch schön, andere kennenzulernen. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Aber noch einzigartiger war die Show, und wie professionell du alles organisiert hast, und wie Du Deine Nerven behälst !!! Respekt, da muss ich dich bewundern !!! Und Danke auch für alle Informationen, die Du uns weiterleitest!
Am Sonntag vormittag(nach der 1. Show) bin ich aufgewacht und ich hatte so ein Glücksgefühl, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt ! (auch wenn ich ein paar kleine Fehler gemacht habe :o(
Ich danke Dir für diese Erfahrung und für diese schöne Zeit ! Es ist unbeschreiblich !

Euer Contest war wieder einmal großartig! So tolle Künstler und hochkarätige Darbietungen, wirklich spitze. Marcel und ich haben auf der Rückfahrt nach Köln in schönen Erinnerungen geschwelgt, als wir den Abend noch einmal revuepassieren lassen haben. Ach, und ich habe jetzt wenigstens ein Stückchen Deines neuen Tanzes in der Juryshow beim WDR (Lokalzeit) gesehen, das hat mir sehr gut gefallen ... Du hast so schön gefühlvoll und mit viel Emotion getanzt! Wir haben uns auch sehr für Euch gefreut, dass der Contest so gut besucht war.
Ganz herzlichen Dank auch an Euch beide für die gute Verpflegung, das Essen war echt lecker.

zuerst einmal muß ich im Nachhinein noch meine Begeisterung über die tolle Samstag-Show-Gala loswerden...wunderbare Choreos Deiner großen Projekt- und Showgruppe, erlesene Solo-Tänzerinnen aus aller Welt; Profis, die ich sonst nur von youtube kenne und nun endlich einmal live erleben konnte (uns das hier im Rheinland!) - und vor allem eine tolle Stimmung!
Schön fand ich auch die abwechselnden Ansagen der Künstler.
Überaschend war für mich auch, dass unter den Darstellern eine so lockere und verbindliche Atmosphäre zu sein schien, dass sogar eine kfr. gemeinsam einstudierte humorvolle Choreo der Profis auf die Bühne kam.
Auch mein Mann, der schon einige Shows miterlebt hat, war schlichtweg begeistert.
Da spürt man überall das große Engagement und die Kreativität der Organisatorin im Hintergrund, die alles bis ins Detail selbst "handmade" vorbereitet und durchdacht hat...eben auch ein Vollblut-Profi.

Absolutely amazing that last weekend you were both working non-stop announcing, judging, and brilliantly performing; while Roland managed the competition paperwork, presented the awards + cooked and served a hot meal at the theatre! You are both wonderful people - so very kind and caring. We thank you for the opportunity to experience your festival.
We look forward all the festival activities. Today Carl and I take the train to Cologne and meet Andre Ebling for a tour of the town. It will be quite interesting to see Koln 30 years later and compare to my memories from working there so long ago.See you again soon.

Ich wollte Dir nochmal sagen,wie toll ich das Konzept fand,dass die Künstler die Kolleginnen selber anmoderieren!Das hat die Tänzerinnen dem Publikum noch näher gebracht,es war lustig und süß wie sie sich mit dem Deutsch abmühten-tolle Idee!Die Sängerin war auch klasse,da bekam man schon zu Beginn der Show richtig Gänsehaut..es war eben anders konzipiert wie die meisten andern Shows und das hat es nochmal so speziell gemacht!
Tigerlily war auch begeistert und es ist jetzt schon amtlich dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder dabei sind!
Vielen Dank nochmal an Dich und Roland für diesen tollen Event!Tja,das ist wohl für keine Veranstalterin mehr zu toppen..ich denke es ist nicht nur der hohe Qualitätsstandard und die perfekte Organisation..das bekommen andere vielleicht(!) auch hin-es hat viel mehr mit euch Beiden zu tun,denn ihr bringt letztlich diese spezielle Stimmung und Seele in dieses Festival..und das spüren die Teilnehmer und die Zuschauer!
Ihr könnt echt stolz auf das sein,was ihr euch aufgebaut habt!Du bist wirklich ein Star,Leyla!♥

I am so happy to have met you in person and those few moments have shown me what a kindhearted person you are, maybe even changed the way I look at organising large events involving competition and dealing with how possible outcome may affect participants. You and Roland have been doing a fabulous job all these years and without your work, our dance scene would not be the same. I had a wonderful time and the other contestants were also so great. I hope to compete again next year in Raks Sharqi category and my troupe is now thinking of entering, too. It was a wonderful experience and I wouldn't have missed it for the world! :)

Die Zeit vergeht unheimlich schnell, und gleich nach der Show war ich wieder geschäftlich unterwegs.
Ich möchte mich bei Dir nochmals persönlich bedanken für diese unglaubliche Erfahrung! Die Projekt-Proben haben mir unheimlich viel gebracht, es war auch schön, andere kennenzulernen. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Aber noch einzigartiger war die Show, und wie professionell du alles organisiert hast, und wie Du Deine Nerven behälst !!! Respekt, da muss ich dich bewundern !!! Und Danke auch für alle Informationen, die Du uns weiterleitest!
Am Sonntag vormittag(nach der 1. Show) bin ich aufgewacht und ich hatte so ein Glücksgefühl, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt ! (auch wenn ich ein paar kleine Fehler gemacht habe :o(
Ich danke Dir für diese Erfahrung und für diese schöne Zeit ! Es ist unbeschreiblich !

Euer Contest war wieder einmal großartig! So tolle Künstler und hochkarätige Darbietungen, wirklich spitze. Marcel und ich haben auf der Rückfahrt nach Köln in schönen Erinnerungen geschwelgt, als wir den Abend noch einmal revuepassieren lassen haben. Ach, und ich habe jetzt wenigstens ein Stückchen Deines neuen Tanzes in der Juryshow beim WDR (Lokalzeit) gesehen, das hat mir sehr gut gefallen ... Du hast so schön gefühlvoll und mit viel Emotion getanzt! Wir haben uns auch sehr für Euch gefreut, dass der Contest so gut besucht war.
Ganz herzlichen Dank auch an Euch beide für die gute Verpflegung, das Essen war echt lecker.
Und was für eine Contest-Bilderflut, ich habe 7500 Fotos geschossen :-)

zuerst einmal muß ich im Nachhinein noch meine Begeisterung über die tolle Samstag-Show-Gala loswerden...wunderbare Choreos Deiner großen Projekt- und Showgruppe, erlesene Solo-Tänzerinnen aus aller Welt; Profis, die ich sonst nur von youtube kenne und nun endlich einmal live erleben konnte (uns das hier im Rheinland!) - und vor allem eine tolle Stimmung!
Schön fand ich auch die abwechselnden Ansagen der Künstler.
Überaschend war für mich auch, dass unter den Darstellern eine so lockere und verbindliche Atmosphäre zu sein schien, dass sogar eine kfr. gemeinsam einstudierte humorvolle Choreo der Profis auf die Bühne kam.
Auch mein Mann, der schon einige Shows miterlebt hat, war schlichtweg begeistert.
Da spürt man überall das große Engagement und die Kreativität der Organisatorin im Hintergrund, die alles bis ins Detail selbst "handmade" vorbereitet und durchdacht hat...eben auch ein Vollblut-Profi.

Absolutely amazing that last weekend you were both working non-stop announcing, judging, and brilliantly performing; while Roland managed the competition paperwork, presented the awards + cooked and served a hot meal at the theatre! You are both wonderful people - so very kind and caring. We thank you for the opportunity to experience your festival.
We look forward all the festival activities. Today Carl and I take the train to Cologne and meet Andre Ebling for a tour of the town. It will be quite interesting to see Koln 30 years later and compare to my memories from working there so long ago.See you again soon.

großes Lob für das tolle Festival! Leider hatte ich keine Zeit, mir die Show anzusehen, aber ich habe mir sagen lassen, daß sie wieder großartig war!
Auch in diesem Jahr war ich sehr begeistert von der Auwahl an Workshops und Dozenten! Insbesondere Steven Eggers hat mir sehr gut gefallen und es wäre toll, wenn er im nächsten Jahr sowohl bei der Show als auch als Dozent dabei wäre!

sorry, wenn ich erst jetzt dazu komme, mich ganz herzlich und aufrichtig bei Euch für alles zu bedanken, was ihr für die Szene, für uns und speziell für mich da auf die Beine gestellt habt! Es ist soviel, man kann das alles gar nicht aufzählen, nur zu gut weiß ich um die Mühe, Sorge, schlaflose Nächte und immense Kraft, die das alles kostet.....liebe Leyla, bitte pass auf Dich auf und erhole Dich von den Strapazen, das ist so wichtig, um wieder Kraft für die kommenden Projekte zu haben! Mein Kopf ist voll von Eindrücken, die ich erst mal sortieren muss, habe wunderschöne Dinge erlebt, werde davon sobald ich etwas zur Ruhe gekommen bin auch im fb berichten, um andere an den positiven Dingen teilhaben zu lassen.
